Jammy Blueberry Oat Bran

It’s was cold and rainy today, so a hot bowl of oat bran sounded like the perfect breakfast. I like to use a mixture of oat milk and water to make it extra creamy. I also add in fresh blueberries while it’s cooking so I can have little explosions of warm gooey berry in every bite.ย ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅ„

Mix together water, milk and salt in a small pan. Bring to a boil.

Slowly stir in oat bran. Turn heat to med-low and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

After 1 minute, stir in blueberries.

When cooking time has finished, turn off heat and let sit for 2 minutes.

Pour into bowl, drizzle on maple syrup, and enjoy!

  • โ…“ cup oat milk
  • โ…“ cup oat bran
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • blueberries, a giant handful
  • maple syrup, finishing drizzle
